A chance is taken with Le Gris, who is likely to represent a fair bit more value than How Great Thou Art, who is an obvious threat in this company. Alagon and Maiful are others that are capable of making the frame and are worth considering if each-way odds are available. How Great Thou Art has been described as a chaser in the making and all the usual clich¿about what achieves in this area of racing apply. The drop back in trip will help his cause today and he is fully expected to be thereabouts at the finish (a saver option is always available.) However, Le Gris has shaped up nicely without getting his head in front since his switch to hurdles and deserves a change of fortune. The lack of an obvious pace-setter should help him regarding the trip and he looks worth a small investment at the likely prices.
