Nozic could be a favourite worth taking on here as he is 15lbs higher than when winning a moderate contest last time out, so we will side with Venetia Williams' Flying Enterprise to land the spoils, with Marcel and Kalca Mome capable of running into a place. The selection was a bit disappointing when dropped in trip last time out, however the step back up to this trip should suit and despite stepping out of novice company today, he holds very solid claims. The stable are in form and he gets the nod. David Pipe has three in with chances in Madison Du Berlais, It Takes Time, and Marcel, with the last-named looking the best of his three. He is on a hat-trick today and with ground conditions to suit, he could be capable of a big challenge. Nozic has hosed up on his last two starts but the form of those races looks very ordinary and even though he has surprised his trainer with his rapid improvement recently, his hike in the weights may see him struggle in this better race. Kalca Mome stays well and will be running on at the death although he may not have the pace to get his head in front, whilst Bold Bishop will need to forget his poor last run when pulled up. If back on song he has place claims at a price, however we will return to Venetia Williams' Flying Enterprise to land the spoils.
