Refused A Name won this in 2014 and was having just his third subsequent start when showing a bit more at Thurles last month. Black Zero completed a hat-trick at the end of 2014 but is still higher in the weights despite showing little since. Eiri Na Casca had Five O'clock Tea well behind when scoring at Naas and was still in touch when falling at the last at Leopardstown a week later. Denis Hogan's charge has a big chance here but the one who really caught the eye in that latter event was SIR ABBOT. Robert Tyner's charge is well in compared to his hurdles rating and with just five races under his belt over fences has the scope to go on to better things.
