EARLS scored over 5f on good ground at Sligo and bounced back to winning ways over 6f on testing ground at Fairyhouse on Tuesday. He looks to be improving and a 6lb penalty should be no barrier to him winning his third race in four starts. Master Matt landed a 7f Listowel handicap on good ground but couldn't cope with a 7lb rise on heavy going at Limerick. Stanhope has been confined to the minimum trip since reappearing in June, scoring on ground with some give at Navan when narrowly beating today's rival Miacomet, who is 1lb better off. That's Mad had been running really well before gaining his first victory at Cork and should make a bold bid to defy a 5lb rise while Truth Prevails won a maiden here in August and wasn't far behind Inflection Point on the track a couple of weeks ago.
