In depth

Verdict

Finn McCool is the highest rated of these and gained his only success to date on this track but he didn't run well on his reappearance at Chester last week and his stable companion BELGRAVIA looks to have much more scope. A full-brother to Derby winner Ruler Of The World and related to numerous other winners including Duke Of Marmalade, he was always going to be a middle-distance performer and though by no means convincing over 1m4f at Leopardstown looks one to follow now getting his head in front. Naughty Or Nice was a 20/1 chance on her debut over 1m1f at Gowran but defied the odds to win going away and she'll be ideally suited by this sort of trip. Three Jacks carried a low weight when beaten in a handicap last time but Grandee was tackling Group 3 company on his reappearance and this looks more his level.
