Verdict

CAPTAIN GUINNESS had a bit in hand when beating Riviere D‘etel just over a length in this a year ago and will be 3lb worse off. He was then placed three times in Grade 1s and will make a bold bid to complete the race double. The runner-up has the benefit of a recent run over hurdles so there is unlikely to be much between them. Saint Roi is carrying a penalty for a Grade 1 victory at Leopardstown in December and is held by Dysart Dynamo on their run behind brilliant stablemate El Fabiolo in a Grade 1 at Punchestown in April.
