Lets Do This just failed to land a gamble when beaten a short-head over an extended 3m1f at Sligo so it's a slight concern he's dropping back in trip but that was a much-improved effort. Appian Way, who started favourite, didn't get the run of the race and will be happier over the shorter trip. Sixhandsinmypocket has been running well though looks a few pounds high as does the maiden Hidalgo Des Mottes but the lightly-raced Sea Road Fill has some improvement in him. BLACK TONIC (NAP) gave notice of better to come when a close fifth at Kilbeggan and came in for strong support at Killarney, where he was cruising along when unseating two out. He's on the same mark and Danny Mullins takes over the reins so compensation awaits.
