The world and his wife saw MARTIN SCRUFF beaten in controversial circumstances at Punchestown when Paul Carberry was given a caution by the stewards after an unconvincing ride. He's 14lb higher here but looks capable of winning from higher marks and should recoup losses. Notre Pere and Golden Kite are warming up for the Grand National though the latter arrives here in very good form and is on a fair mark over timber. Square Sphere looks the one to take advantage if the selection comes up light again as she's a cracking good hurdler who gained her third success in six starts when battling to victory over Rivage D'Or at Punchestown in January. Lascalahall and Garryowen Star are closely matched on their run at Down Royal in February when the latter just prevailed.
