Battleroftheboyne last won a race in 2012 but is now 17lb lower and ran well for a long way over an extra furlong at Leopardstown last month. Regal Power returned to action after a long break to score on fast ground at the Curragh last June for which he was raised 10lb. He's gradually dropped to a more lenient mark and is one to note. Diamond Daze has been placed 14 times and is rarely beaten far but she's yet to gain her first success. ABOVE THE LAW, who won this last year when just in front of today's rival Peggy's Leg, has virtually the same draw this time and should again take care of that rival and land this again. Acting Talent was beaten a short-head by Political Party at Dundalk in February but failed to see out an extra furlong at Wolverhampton three weeks later.
