Clifftop gained his only victory to date over this trip at Bellewstown just over a year ago but has been running well this summer, mainly over 1m2f, and should get into contention. Amarantha looked a likely future winner when third on her handicap debut at the Curragh and was well supported at Bellewstown next time but failed to handle heavy ground. Some Picture had bits and pieces of form for Mick Channon and makes her debut for new connections on a lowly mark while No Way Jack was beaten less than two lengths off this mark at Limerick in July and Wayne Lordan is a positive booking.
