Multamis ran his best race since scoring at Epsom last summer when a close fourth at Sligo and has been dropped 1lb. Cerberus was in excellent form over timber last winter and a mark of 74 underestimates his abilities back on the level though his stable companion BARON SAMEDI won a Down Royal handicap last week by 13 lengths so a 6lb penalty is unlikely to prevent a hat-trick. With their stable in outstanding form, both Sasta and Ivy Avenue would have to be considered threat if getting a run from their reserve spots.
