Aidan O'Brien has won three of the last five and has two entered here. The newcomer Arya Tara has a middle distance pedigree but Etched should be well suited to the trip and ran well enough on her debut at Naas last month to be a major player here. The winner and second in that latter event are trained by Dermot Weld, who has EMERGENT in here. A daughter of Oasis Dream out of a winning miler, she has a pedigree packed with Group 1 winners and is taken to make a successful debut. Suvenna was behind Etched at Naas but was noted staying on nicely over that 7f and she can be expected to come on considerably for the experience.
