SCRUTINEER made the most impressive start of these with a third at Ripon last month. Mick Channon's charge has obvious claims with most of the remainder having posted only modest efforts on their respective debuts. The likely improvers include Sanaadh, Swansway and Hamish Mcgonagain with the former preferred having finished behind the progressive Poet's Prize and another subsequent winner at Beverley. Specialv makes her racecourse debut but will be seen to better effect when tackling further.
