Coeur De Beauchene went for £115,000 after finishing runner-up in a point at Kirkistown in November and has joined Gordon Elliott. The winner and third have been beaten under Rules subsequently but it will still be a surprise if he isn't involved in the finish. Balkalin is a big strong chasing type who will enjoy the conditions but doesn't have much in the way of pace while Biennial will need to have made great strides since his debut to get involved. LAVERTEEN is quite highly regarded and started a short-priced favourite on his debut at Fairyhouse last February. He found one too good there and didn't really shine on his next start on a return visit a month later but there looks more to come from him and Katie Walsh can steer him home.
