      Verdict

      READY TO ROC has been competing in pattern races without success since making a winning start at Dundalk. Johnny Murtagh’s colt should be more at home at this level. A course and distance maiden winner, Callender was not disgraced in the Windsor Castle at Ascot last time and should also go well while Velveteen is another dropping down in class having taken part in a couple of Group 3 sprints last month. Red Sabor won a handicap over 6f at the Curragh recently but is upped 5lb, though still preferred to Elusive Beauty.
