Verdict

This is tougher than the race Construct won at Roscommon and a hood is added to the usual tongue-tie today. Life On Earth and Rockabill have yet to show their best form this year though better is expected from Inscribe with a comeback run at Limerick in April under his belt. But Ger Lyon’s charge remains 8lb higher than when scoring at the Curragh over a year ago so a chance is taken on THE LAST EMPEROR (NAP) in this. He’s had a couple of outings over timber since joining Emmet Mullins but is related to four winners on the Flat including the useful Agent Murphy, who won over today’s trip, so gets the nod.
