St Brelade's Bay is the only course and distance winner in the line-up but he has plenty to find on official ratings. St Patrick's Day has been a major disappointment since arriving from the USA with a big reputation but Karl Burke has done superbly with his raiders in recent weeks so the presence of Unfortunately is noted, though he's been unable to recapture his brilliant juvenile form which saw him beat stable companion Havana Grey in the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville. Fas, three times a winner in France including a Group 3, has only shown glimpses of his form since transferring to Eddie Lynam and may need another furlong so that leaves the old-timer GORDON LORD BYRON, the winner of 16 of his 91 starts and running well all season without quite getting there. His second to Expert Eye in a Group 3 at York last month is the best recent form on view and victory number 17 looks on the cards.
