In depth

Verdict

Randalls Ur Poet makes his handicap debut against his elders and could be on a fair mark as he's been very consistent in strong maiden company. Wigs On The Green was heavily supported on his handicap bow at Leopardstown after a promising effort at Fairyhouse but fluffed his lines and will need to do much better. TOUT EST PERMIS had been in fine form over fences before reverting to hurdles at Cork where he led for a long way over that 2m4f. He's on a 17lb lower mark than over the bigger obstacles and looks to have as good a chance as any in a tough heat. Mick The Boyo came with a long late run to snatch the spoils close home over the track and trip three weeks ago and a 5lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run while Champagne Pat will be happier back over the minimum after failing to last out an extra 2f at Leopardstown.
