Verdict

Dr Wallace was bought by J P McManus after landing the odds in a Navan bumper just over a year ago. He has a cracking pedigree and is one to note. Winning point-to-pointer The Holy One has done well to finish runner-up in two bumpers and this will be his game while another winner between the flags, Plan Of Attack, will have come on a bundle for last month's hurdling bow. Bumper winner AS YOU WERE needed his opening run over timber then just failed to hold off Blow By Blow over 2m7f at Navan. That will have brought him to concert pitch and he can get off the mark over hurdles. Ballyward won a Leopardstown bumper by 16 lengths a year ago and didn't make his hurdling debut until last month where he showed plenty of potential so looks a big threat.
