Beat The Ballot was in fine form on Polytrack in December and there's no reason why he shouldn't transfer that ability to Turf so he must be considered along with Our Conor, who came with a strong burst to score over 7f at Roscommon. Sophies Echo has ability but has shown signs of temperament in the past while Summer Knight appeared to find 1m2f too far at Navan after a very good run over this trip at Gowran. Ian Brennan rode a perfect front-running race to get JEREMY'S GIRL home over 1m2f at Down Royal where she was 5lb out of the handicap. She can race here with a 5lb penalty so with her rider's claim taken into account she looks well enough handicapped to complete a quick double. Sure Reef produced a much-improved effort at Navan when just failing to catch Stocktons Wings and is another to consider.
