In depth

Verdict

The three-year-old Fit For The Job couldn't handle very testing ground on his reappearance at the Curragh and is much better than he showed there. In Salutem had Bubbly Bellini just behind at Navan in October and though beaten by that rival at the Curragh last month the going was too heavy and he returned to winning ways on better ground there last weekend. An 8lb rise looks a bit harsh while Togoville has shot up the weights which is hardly surprising given his superb form at Dundalk. AN SAIGHDIUR hasn't won since landing a Listed contest very easily at Cork a year ago but has been competing at a much higher level and the assessor has given him a chance by dropping him below 100. He can take this though the classy Balmont Mast is another who has been competing in better company and he'll be better for last month's run at Dundalk.
