Aidan O'Brien won this last year with the long odds-on War Envoy, who didn't win again. Stone Mountain has no early entries in major events and his pedigree suggests he'll be needing much further than this in time. Ger Lyons has some speedy juveniles this season and Argentero could be one of them as he's from the first crop of Zoffany. Dermot Weld isn't in quite the tremendous form of early season but CARIBBEAN SPRING could make a successful debut as he's by Dark Angel out of a winning juvenile. He's already been gelded and could just be too well forward for Escondida, though Jim Bolger's colt is by Vocaliser, who has made a very good start to his stud career. Chasing Tomorrow looks best of those with experience as he was well supported when making his debut at Dundalk and the form has already worked out well.
