Verdict

Foxy Jacks has run very well the last twice, staying on over longer trips, so could find this on the short side. Winning point-to-pointer January Jets looked a likely future winner when runner-up in a big field at Fairyhouse but didn't come up to expectations at Leopardstown next time. THE BIG GETAWAY had no problems landing a Punchestown bumper in November and was expected to make a successful hurdling debut at Leopardstown but a bad mistake at the last put paid to his chances. He should get back to winning ways with Farceur Du Large, possibly the best of the remainder.
