Once again there are three entries from Ballydoyle, all newcomers. Not surprisingly all are beautifully bred with Hudson Canyon being a son of Galileo and Immortal Budget a close relative of six winners, though all eyes will be on Schubert. He cost $1.3m as a yearling and is the fourth foal of a mare who has already produced three winners. Araqeel is one of two Dermot Weld entries and with Pat Smullen engaged the son of Dutch Art can prove the better of the pair, though the vote in an intriguing contest goes to TRIBAL BEAT. Jim Bolger's Godolphin-owned colt made a very encouraging debut on heavy ground at the Curragh in March and started favourite on a return visit in May but missed the break. He's been given time to mature and can see off some interesting newcomers.
