The top two in the weights here - Burren View Lady and Ask Dad - are both winners over track and trip and it would be no surprise to see them go well along with Johnny Lawman, a maiden winner at Tipperary who has managed to drop 9lb in just three handicap runs. Rigid Rock won a Gowran handicap over 7f and can be forgiven being beaten in a claimer on the sand at Laytown. He was in front of today's rival JEALIKA at Gowran but the latter is much better on softer ground as she showed at Listowel on Friday when she had a couple of lengths to spare over today's rival Dragon Khan. The latter must have a chance of reversing the form on the revised terms but Mark Fahey's charge can complete a quick double. The former UK-trained National Service has been racing on much faster ground and has dropped to a mark he should be capable of winning from but Our Max's two career victories have come at Laytown.
