The last two winners were drawn low but the previous three were high. Johnny Murtagh has been on board Awareness on all three starts to date and his mount has shown enough pace to get involved in this from his low berth. It's a surprise to see Maunsells Duke racing over this trip as his victory at Dundalk was over a mile. He's probably warming up for Galway while the speedy Under Review has gained all three of his career victories on Polytrack. Allegra Tak reappeared with a fine effort over 7f at Limerick and looks a threat. He had previous winner Desert Ben behind and the form looks decent. Stones Peak was behind Desert Ben at Down Royal but made rapid progress to beat Mo Saoirse and The Educator over the minimum trip at Navan where the runner-up led for much of the way. Suspect Device is better over slightly further so a chance is taken on MT WEATHER, who has a C&D victory to his credit and has run a couple of good races this season from what is a lenient mark.
