None of these arrive in the best of form though Cj Clegg had been running well before a poor effort over 1m4f at Listowel. CALONNE has only had four starts but made a promising handicap debut on heavy ground at Gowran and has more improvement in him. That could be good enough for what is a moderate handicap. Lady In Lavender went up 16lb for her Gowran victory and has struggled from her new mark while the veteran Castle Guest, who has won seven times, is best on faster going. Oakmont is 1-19 and his only victory came in France in 2016.
