        Verdict

        Held up, PRODUCTION was a little tentative in the early stages at Market Rasen but wasn’t given a hard time despite only beaten five lengths at the finish. Twice a winner on the Flat, he could have a bright future over timber. Prefontaine got nowhere near easy winner Botox Has at Fontwell and needs more but Paseo was staying on strongly behind a subsequent winner at Huntingdon and has more scope than Wetherby runner-up Paricolor. Rafiot is an interesting newcomer if a tumble on the Flat hasn’t affected his confidence.
