Tithonus hasn't been seen since completing a double at Dundalk at the end of last year and has yet to be placed in seven starts on Turf. Jackie Ellis has won once in 34 starts which hardly inspires confidence and the ground was heavy when she finished runner-up at Roscommon. Belclare Boy has never won but made the in-form Knockmaole Boy pull out the stops over an extra furlong at Tipperary though he was behind Lightening Stricks over the trip at Killarney in May. Liam Roche's charge isn't a prolific winner but this is his trip and ground and he will make a bold bid to return to winning ways. MATRIARCH (NAP) finished just in front of him at Dundalk last week and the three-year-old has plenty of scope for improvement with just seven runs behind her. She should prove better than a 53-rated handicapper and Tom Madden is one of the more experienced riders in the race.
