The last three winners of this have been returned at 33/1, 10/1 and 20/1 so punters beware. It will be tough ploughing through testing conditions over this trip and Navan maiden winner Raz De Maree will find this opposition very much stronger on his handicap debut. Rivage D'Or had been running very well in maidens before stepping back into handicaps and producing a fine run in a Pertemps qualifier at Punchestown. He's been raised another 5lb for that but can still go well. Ballinahow Lady attempted to make all over this trip at Punchestown last time and, though eventually only finishing fourth behind Turner Brown, that was a very good effort and she's on the short-list as is The Burrow Vic, who finished third. David O'Brien's mare had earlier been over 20 lengths in front of Garryowen Star at Thurles and the latter boosted the form by scoring at Down Royal. HOOCHIE MAMA hasn't been beaten far by either Ballinahow Lady or Garryowen Star recently and looks just the type to spring a surprise under Katie Walsh, who was on board when John Coleman's mare scored over this C&D on soft ground last March.
