Half of these are seeing a racecourse for the first time in public. Most attention will be focused on the Ballydoyle newcomers with the Dirt-bred Elfin Queen being a half-sister to four winners including the Grade 1 and Grade 2 winner Cupid. But she doesn’t yet have any fancy entries whereas stablemate LOVE LOCKET is still in the Cheveley Park at the end of the month. The latter is a €700,000 daughter of No Nay Never out of a Sea The Stars mare and, though she’ll be suited by further in time, could be sharp enough to do herself justice at the first time of asking. Deidra was second at Cork last time but May’s Curragh fourth Sunday Sweet has more scope and should prove the best of those with experience.
