Countdown was beaten a long way into second when sent to Ffos Las for his debut in a bumper. Goulane Chosen improved when racing on heavy ground for the first time at Limerick and further rain would enhance his chances. Massini's Brook could only stay on at one pace at Punchestown and may do better over further but Ryback Jack has improved with every run in bumpers and has to be respected on his hurdling bow. Riviera Sun has been prominent throughout in his two starts over timber before fading. He should be at concert pitch for this and will make a bold bid though RUSSIAN BILL could have his measure. Noel Meade's charge has steadily improved in bumpers and looked ideally suited by testing ground when scoring at Leopardstown where he relished a battle.
