GABBYS CROSS has a tough task of conceding weight all round in this Leinster National but latest performances in high-quality handicap chases give him a competitive chance of doing so. Admittedly a little disappointing last time in the Thyestes, he still wasn't disgraced and his success in an ultra-competitive handicap chase at the Galway festival last year reads really well here. Aione has yet to score in four chasing starts but is another with a respectable claim if forgiven his latest start when pulled up. He remains unexposed over fences and could prove very well treated. Espanito Bello could well have been laid out for this and rates a real threat to all concerned, whilst Now Where Or When, West Cork Wildway and recent winner, The Tack Room, cannot be confidently discounted.
