This looks wide-open but WEE CHARLIE does have the benefit of consistency to call upon and was only deprived of a first career success in the dying embers of his latest outing at Fairyhouse. He gets on well with Darragh O'Keeffe, is only up 3lb for that excellent latest run and will hopefully not prove inconvenienced by this half-mile drop in trip. Rideau Canal is an obvious contender, having shaped well on both starts since joining the Foster yard from Alan King at the start of the year. He, too, is dropped quite considerably in trip but is a major player on the level achieved the last twice. Galactic Grey has a shout on the evidence of his penultimate run, but efforts before and after have been modest, whilst it's essential to keep an eye on Be My Hero in the market on a first start since joining Gordon Elliott.
