Colin Keane steered The Fox Tully to victories at Fairyhouse and Sligo before the combination of a 5lb rise and very testing conditions stopped them in their tracks when a close fourth to tonight's rival Jeremy's Girl at Down Royal. Another 2lb rise makes things even more difficult while the winner has been well beaten over a mile here since. PIVOT RIDGE won a handicap over this trip at Leopardstown a month ago when the going was heavy. He's raced at a slightly higher level in three subsequent starts and should be good enough to return to winning ways. Teofolina had shown promise on good ground at Cork but finished tailed off in very testing conditions at Tipperary in May. That wasn't her true form and she makes her handicap debut here.
