Character Actor progressed nicely in bumpers in the spring and should do better over hurdles after his run at Killarney in May. Kid Curry made a promising start in bumpers behind Hidden Cyclone at Gowran and though disappointing later is expected to make a decent hurdler. Staying Article was mightily impressive in making a winning debut in a Punchestown bumper last month and connections have wasted no time sending him hurdling. He's obviously one to watch but RIVAGE D'OR may just have his measure despite this looking on the short side. The former French bumper winner has become very expensive to follow but testing conditions should play to his strengths and his experience may see him home.
