The one-eyed Cottrelsbooley had shown nothing in bumpers before an impressive victory here in March when he made all. He's certain to have been well schooled for his hurdling debut and is one to keep on the right side. Fennis Boy produced some good efforts earlier this year and it looked just a matter of time before he gained his first hurdles success but his last two runs have been very poor and he's best watched for now. Shot From The Hip won bumpers at Clonmel and Leopardstown before moderate efforts in top-grade events at Cheltenham and Punchestown. He'll be primed for this by his master handler and should go well though the greater experience of both Foildubh and FRISCO DEPOT may just carry the day with the latter's close third to The Shepherd King on his return at Galway just enough to earn him the vote.
