Verdict
Abbey Lane is already a nine-year-old but was well backed and possibly a little unlucky on his chasing bow at Limerick. Already successful in a point-to-point and a winner three times over hurdles, he should go close with a clear round but MOSCOW MANNON didn't do a lot wrong on his first start over fences when fourth to Ned Buntline. He loves the mud and may have too much class for his rivals. Ludo Et Emergo made a promising start behind Mount Colah at Thurles and will improve for the experience but Grove Field took a heavy fall at Gowran in a race in which Authinger and Bend The Rules were unplaced and may need more time.
