Fairyhouse runner-up POWDER HOUND failed to quicken when only fourth at Leopardstown a couple of weeks ago but that was probably a hotter contest than this and Noel Meade's four-year-old is worth another chance to fulfil the promise of his debut effort. Le Vent D'Antan, who was a decent sort in bumpers last year, is sure to have learned plenty from his hurdling introduction at Fairyhouse and will strip fitter here while Sea Beat was taking on some smart juveniles when fifth here last month, ahead of Truly Delightful, and wasn't beaten far at Leopardstown earlier. A Grey Matter was fourth here last month but the drop in trip might not be in his favour.
