WONDER LAISH, a winner over hurdles at Limerick in September, reverted to the Flat at Leopardstown last Saturday and landed a gamble in no uncertain terms. He has a 7lb penalty to carry and tackles a longer trip but this shouldn't prove beyond him and a quick double looks on the cards. Dalton Highway and Tudor City, fourth and fifth last week, don't look good enough to turn the tables but Lord Erskine would be a threat if the ground turns heavy as he completed a hat-trick in a huge field over 2m at Navan. Swamp Fox, runner-up in the Galway Hurdle, needs a thorough test of stamina and should get that here so he could be the one to be on if the selection doesn't repeat last weekends form.
