Original Option, who was a very disappointing odds-on favourite over three miles here after an excellent run behind Mount Helicon at Cork, had an entry at Fairyhouse yesterday. Another to disappoint last time was Lean Times, who was beaten just a head by Ferris Bueller at Punchestown in October but finished tailed off behind Oscars Well on a return visit the following month. Winning point-to-pointer Portrait King showed ability in bumpers last season and will be suited by hurdling but Dessie Hughes may hold the key to this with Dun Masc and WHITE STAR LINE. The former looks one to follow this term but may just need the run and it's the latter who gets the vote as he has produced two excellent runs over timber in huge fields here and at Punchestown. Popmurphy was Listed class on the Flat and is one to note on his hurdling debut.
