Alex D had been running well for most of the season and gained reward over this trip on heavy ground in a Limerick maiden. Let Me Pass hasn't been beaten far on testing ground the last twice while Hector De Maris came up against a well handicapped winner at Leopardstown. The latter's stablemate IOWA has had three runs in maidens at the Curragh and looks the type for a race like this so gets the nod though Hot Voice and White Pepper fought out a finish on heavy ground at Gowran and should be thereabouts again.
