A couple of these stand out from the rest having both won over hurdles when last in action in March. Global Fame scored at Wetherby and has undergone wind surgery subsequently but WAGNER was having his first outing after wind operation when landing the odds with the minimum of fuss at Fontwell and this longer trip may bring further improvement. Tupelo Mississippi is a dual bumper winner at Newcastle including on the Turf and makes his hurdling debut while Le Cheval Noir finished runner-up at Wetherby on his hurdling bow. Loughermore has the more recent form with a fourth at Carlisle and makes most appeal of the rest.
