Verdict

Karl Philippe is penalised for winning at Hereford last year and Onward Route has switched yards having finished runner-up in both outings earlier in this year for Ruth Jefferson. The latter runs Mauritian Bolt, who found only one too good at Hexham on last month’s debut but WARRIORS STORY also has a recent outing under his belt and Keith Dalgleish’s charge gets the vote on the back of finishing fourth over track and trip. Geonice is preferred to Medaki Roc of the newcomers.
