Verdict

This looks to rest between the experience and overall form of FRENCH EMPEROR and Naseem Sea against the potential of Pitlochry. The former gets the vote as he's been contesting pattern race company since scoring at Leopardstown and his recent third behind Lilbourne Lad in the Group 2 Railway Stakes was boosted when Vault, who finished fifth, scored at Galway at the weekend. Naseem Sea has also been competing at a high level and will enjoy being back over today's trip after failing to find the necessary pace over the minimum at Tipperary. Pitlochry came with a late burst to catch Catamount on soft ground here in June and will have come on a bundle for the run while Jim Bolger's newcomer Caonach is a filly for the future.
