Mick Channon has a good strike-rate with the few runners he sends here but Summer Icon looks up against it in a race of this quality. Diamond Fields sprang a surprise here last month when getting the better of Alice Springs but has picked up a penalty. Rehana ran well in the 1000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown last month and looks the pick of the three-year-olds but ROSE DE PIERRE can win her fifth race in seven starts by landing this. She’s done all of her winning over a mile so far but she did finish ahead of Penny Pepper over 7f at Leopardstown in October and deserves another try at the trip.
