This looks to be a good opportunity for Tough Love to gain some compensation for his near miss at Beverley last week, with Atlantic Quest just preferred to Flying Treaty as the main danger. Tim Easterby's charge has held his form well since his reappearance victory at Pontefract in April. He confirmed his well being when getting to within a length of Pulau Tioman at Beverley last time and a repeat effort against this lesser opposition will make him very hard to beat. Atlantic Quest is better than his form figures would suggest, and he cannot be ruled out of running into a place at this level. Flying Treaty is a multiple winner on the all weather but is nowhere near as consistent on turf. Saraaf is another to consider if he is supported but he has become unreliable to follow and is something of a law unto himself.
