Desert Law won this last year on his reappearance but the ground will be much softer this time, which won’t suit. Paul Midgley also runs Line Of Reason but Alpha Delphini, who is two from two here, is better treated at the weights and must have decent claims as he gets 8lb from Caspian Prince, whose early speed may be blunted by conditions. KYLLANG ROCK (NAP) won on his reappearance last year and is the junior member of this party. He’s run a couple of decent races on ground with some give so the going shouldn’t be a problem and James Tate’s gelding gets the nod.
