Ipledgeallegiance, Peter's Imp and Sarn look the three to concentrate on in the opener and the vote is given to Ipledgeallegiance. The selection is not the most reliable performer but he looks well-in here on his best form and with conditions to suit he looks the one they all have to beat. Peter's Imp won well last time at Catterick when defeating Balalaika Tune and as he hails from a yard in good form he is entitled to plenty of respect. The step up in trip should not inconvenience him either and it will be a surprise if he is not able to make the frame. Sarn put up a fair effort in a similar event to this last time at Chepstow when seventh behind Theatre Lady, but he has not won a race for nearly a year now so the percentage call is to take him on. Repulse Bay has a positive jockey booking so is another worth consideration, but for the winner we return to Ipledgeallegiance.
