Santerno has shown enough ability to get the nomination in this company, while Rothesay Dancer and Titus Wonder are respected as the main dangers on this occasion. Bridal Path could have more to offer now that she is gaining in experience. However, she obviously lacks the speed of her half-brother, Cupid's Glory, and the drop to the minimum trip is a concern with her. Titus Wonder has shown good speed in her starts so far and is a prime candidate to tow them along. However, she also has a bit to prove over the minimum trip and may just help set the race up for a strong finisher. A similar statement can be said of Rothesay Dancer, who likes to get on with things right from the start. The daughter of Lujain has already faced some stiff tests and it is harsh to judge her by her finishing position in the Queen Mary Stakes at York. Still, she was disappointing in this grade last time and does not appeal as one to be taking a short price about. Therefore, it can pay to give Santerno another chance now that she has proved that she acts well on turf. A more patient ride will see her in a better light and Santerno makes plenty of appeal in a race that looks sure to be run at a fair pace.
